Happy Friday everyone,
Jesus said: "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." (John 14:27, NIV).
Yet here we are troubled, afraid, and pursuing 'wordly' rather than Spiritual Peace. Or perhaps that's just me?! Sometimes I forget that true peace isn't a feeling, the absence of noise, or the addition of meditation or mindfulness. Instead, it's knowing that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me unconditionally (John 15:9-10) and is ALWAYS on my side (Exodus 14:14).
So, in what area of your life are you pursuing 'worldly' rather than Spiritual Peace and how can you find rest in Jesus instead (Matthew 11:28-30)?
