Benjamin Franklin said: "The way to see by faith is to shut the eye of reason."
If I were a Star Trek character I'd be Spock. If it doesn't make logical sense, then it's simply nonsensical to me. Logical thinking serves me well and suits me fine until it's challenged by my faith.
A faith that states I must ignore what my eyes can see (2 Corinthians 5:7) and my mind can conceive (1 Corinthians 2:9) and trust in a creative God who operates outside of my 'safe' logical boxes (Mark 10:27).
