How to Bring Your 'Suffering' to God

ree

Happy Friday everyone,

Sam Storms said: "Joy isn't necessarily the absence of suffering it is the presence of God".

Thus, as Christians, we should attempt to focus on God's presence as opposed to our problems (Psalm 95:2). Admittedly, this is easier said than done, but trials and tests are a part of the human experience. Moreover, we're commanded to "Consider it pure joy" when we encounter issues; this, according to James, is the posture of a mature believer (James 1:2-4).

So, if you're facing a problem, trial, or test in your life, what can you do today to turn your back on the issue and turn towards God instead?

God Bless,

Megs
