Community is the Best Apologetic

Happy Friday everyone,

Francis Schaeffer stated that "Our relationship with each other is the criterion the world uses to judge whether our message is truthful - Christian community is the final apologetic."

The Apostle Paul also echos this when he says in 1 Corinthians 1:10 that there should be "no divisions" among us. Yet, wherever we look within Christianity there's 'division'. We are separated by our denominations, doctrine, and theological approaches - when we should be a united community in Christ.

So today, I encourage you to ask yourself these questions:

1. What does 'Christian Community' mean to me?

2. Do my relationships with my brothers and sisters serve as the "final apologetic"?

3. Based on the Christian Community I'm a part of would the 'world' deem my 'message' to be 'truthful'?

This video demonstrates beautifully what we can achieve when there are no divisions and we focus on Unity in Christ (1 Peter 1:22).

God Bless,

Megs
