A wee change for our Prayer Shawl Ministry just now-we are knitting ‘Teddies for Ukraine.’ These handmade teddies are knitted in the now familiar national colours of Ukraine - yellow and blue, and will be given to refugee children from Ukraine.
Women and children, in their millions, have had to leave their homes with little to nothing and have crossed borders into neighbouring countries. We hope these bears can provide a small symbol of home, some comfort in terrifying times and hope for the children.
Prayer Shawl Ministry meets on the 3rd Thursday on the month, 2-4pm in 6A. New members are welcome.
